What's actually in this book
I've spent years researching the gut microbiome.
Most of what's being sold to you simply isn't supported by the science. In this book, I'll show you what your gut bacteria actually need (it's mostly fibre and colour, not capsules), explain the real mechanisms behind the gut-brain connection, cut through the noise on probiotics, leaky gut, and supplements, and give you a practical four-pillar framework for making changes that last. One small step at a time.
No protocols, no product stack. Just the research, clearly explained.

Real science. No fluff. Just what your gut actually needs.
Why I wrote this book
Hi, I’m Dr. Angela Genoni, a PhD in nutrition and gut health, and parent to three teenage boys.
I know what it’s like to juggle real life and real science and I’m here to give you straight answers, not another programme to follow.
I’ve spent 20 years in nutrition and gut health, watching the industry get noisier, more expensive, and less useful. This book is my response to that.
The science is clear on what actually moves the needle for gut health and most of it won’t cost you a thing. I wrote this because you deserve to understand your own body. Not be sold to about it.
