Returns and Refunds Policy

At Gut Science, we want your order to arrive safely and your digital products to work as described.

Hard Copy Books

We do not accept returns or offer refunds for change of mind, including where you ordered the wrong book or no longer want your purchase.

Subject to your rights under applicable consumer law, refunds for hard copy books are available only where the book is damaged in transit or does not arrive.

If your book arrives damaged, please contact angela@gutscience.au as soon as reasonably possible with your order number and, where possible, photographs of the damage and packaging.

If your book has not arrived by the estimated delivery date, please contact us with your order number so we can investigate. Where the book is confirmed lost or cannot be delivered within a reasonable time, we will offer a refund or replacement.

If a return is necessary for a damaged or faulty book, we will provide return instructions and cover reasonable return postage costs. Please contact us before sending a book back.

Digital Products

Because digital products are supplied electronically, we do not offer change-of-mind refunds once a product has been delivered or access has been provided, except where required by law.

Please check the product description and any stated compatibility requirements before purchasing.

If your digital product is faulty, cannot be downloaded or accessed, or does not match its description, contact angela@gutscience.au with your order number and details of the issue. We will help resolve the problem and provide a replacement, refund or other remedy where required by applicable consumer law.

Refund Processing

Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method. We will confirm when your refund has been processed. The time it takes to appear in your account depends on your payment provider.

Your Consumer Rights

Nothing in this policy excludes, restricts or replaces any rights or remedies you have under applicable consumer law. Where those rights entitle you to a refund, replacement or other remedy, they apply even if the circumstances fall outside this policy.
