A science-led framework that helps you integrate gut microbiome science into your clinical practice. Designed for General Practitioners, Health Coaches and Allied Health (OT's, Physiotherapists, Dentists, Chiropractors).
Whichever area of clinical practice your expertise lies, the gut microbiome intertwines and supports your work.
Credible, unbiased information is difficult to come by, when the wellness industry is loud, conflicting and commercially driven.
Health professionals need a simple, evidence-backed way to discuss the science of microbiome and how to use this information to improve patient outcomes, without stepping outside the scope of practice.

Body Intelligence is a clinical communication and education framework that helps practitioners:
• Translate complex gut science into practical language
• Improve patient understanding and adherence
• Integrate microbiome science responsibly
• Reduce misinformation in clinical conversations
• Support behaviour change through physiological literacy

Body Intelligence was created by Dr Angela Genoni, a PhD-qualified nutrition and public health researcher with over 20 years’ experience across clinical research, tertiary education and industry.
Angela’s work has focused on gut health, the microbiome and nutrition, not from a trend perspective, but from a systems and evidence-based lens. She has worked in microbiome research, developed university-level teaching programs, and led education initiatives translating complex science into practical application.
After years of watching both patients and professionals become overwhelmed by conflicting wellness narratives, Angela developed the Body Intelligence Framework to bring clarity back to clinical conversations.
Her approach is simple:
Respect scope of practice
Respect evidence
Respect the individual
Body Intelligence exists to support health professionals to communicate gut health confidently, responsibly and without commercial bias.
She is also now an author, publishing: A Peaceful, Gut Mind & Body, in 2025
