The mouth is the beginning of the gut.

Most dental education stops there

Oral health and gut health have traditionally been treated as separate systems.

But the science now tells a very different story. The oral microbiome, periodontal disease, systemic inflammation and gut dysbiosis are intricately connected. These systems are talking to each other constantly.

Your patients' overall health outcomes may depend on whether you understand that conversation.

Why this, now?

Patients are increasingly asking about gut health, inflammation, and whole-body wellbeing.

Most dentists haven’t been trained to confidently respond to these conversations, yet they directly influence treatment decisions and outcomes.

This program is designed to bridge that gap, before it becomes expected knowledge.

This is designed for dentists who:

  • Are curious about the growing body of research linking oral and gut health
  • Want to understand how the microbiome affects their patients beyond the mouth
  • Are looking for an evidence-based professional development that genuinely expands their clinical thinking
  • Want to have more informed conversations with patients about whole-body health
